Puerta reciclada – Francisco de Pájaro, street art video Barcellona, urban art Barcelona

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

The video from 2022-05-31 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. Since 2009 he has turned rubbish left on the pavement – boxes, bags, mattresses, old furniture – into wild, comic figures painted on the spot. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain.
