Who is behind Art Is Trash?

This clip from 2023-06-13 shows a street piece by Art Is Trash, the project of Barcelona-based artist Francisco de Pájaro. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain.
