Francisco de Pájaro – Art Is Trash

The video from 2024-07-10 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection. His figures poke fun at throwaway culture, power and the established art world.
